Personal statement

Hi! My name is Krit, and I am fascinated with the endless possibilities of digital media for storytelling and education. In particular, I am fascinated with how the Web is changing how we collect, get, and present information. My goal as a professional is to properly utilize the emerging tools available to us to 1) find meaning in large amounts of unstructured data and 2) communicate those insights with others.

Over the past several years, I have been training primarily in data analytics as a way to extract and organize insights from "big data". From data wrangling and mining all the way to modeling, I have worked through every step of the process. At the same time, I also have had numerous opportunities to communicate these insights through data visualizations, from which I've used as a window into the world of web development.
